Alexis Bloom Week 06 Journal

All Work and No Play Makes Alexis a Dull Girl

Some very good things happened and some very bad things happened this week.  On the bright side, we got a lot of rough animation work done.  We’re aiming to have everything rough animated and rendered by the end of the month.  Me, Juan and Chris seem to be chugging along nicely when it comes to that.  I fell behind a little bit, but quickly caught up by buckling down, so yay for me!  Texturing is under way for our characters, and they are lokoing pretty spiffy.  In addition to doing rough animation, I did some UV unwrapping and rigging, both of which I enjoy doing as well.  I feel like I got a lot done this week.  I just need to keep buckling down and keep working at this pace.

On the bad side of things… I had a family emergency involving my grandmom so that made me physically and emotionally upset (hence causing a slow period in my work).  However, I quickly caught up with my animating and other tasks.

It’s been a very successful week overall.  Stressful, but progressive,

Hours breakdown:
