After our presentation Tuesday we focused on both retiming the animatic as well as pushing our environment and character models further. The animation team met Wednesday night to discuss the rest of the week’s work, and by Friday had retimed many of the shots. Saturday they met as well to work together in the labs as well as start shooting reference footage. Zack focused primarily on the Mad Scientist model so that it will be ready to be rigged this Friday. Avery got lots of pipes into the reactor room as well as collecting more lighting reference and meeting with Chris to go over it and some ideas for surfacing. The promary focus moving forward will be refining the animatic so it can move into a rough animation that can be rendered and comped by the end of the quarter. After a few more passes of the animatic it should be mostly locked in.
