Chris Cerrone Week 04 Journal

Chris Cerrone

I worked 41:05 hours last week. About half animating, about half organizing, about half writing and rewriting the script. Thats more than 100%, because I did more than I expected to get done. I put body rigs in a rough mad scientist model that Avery made, then I did it to the Super Hero, and eventually weight painted down his massive bulging deformed muscles. I updated all the rigs and organized their folders, as well as setting up references in several scenes. THen I blocked in my two assigned shots with the models, and eventually took over multiple that Juan was not going to be able to get done in time. I edited the thing today.  I also do the boring stuff like update the shot list and make status reports and then copy and paste each individual PPJ link and then further have to attach the link because Learn’s interface is from before hyperlinks and on the Memex it worked fine. (Yeah thats a New Media Joke)I worked 13 hours today, so this is the last thing. So its over now. Goodnight.Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 9.45.31 PM

Positives – I got a lot done. Rigging the characters puts the animatic in a 1000 times more readable format that the armless and faceless blocks we would have had.

Negatives – I got a bunch of extra work at the end and the whole compiling of the animatic was very rushed to meet the deadline, by next week we will have a heavily revised one with feedback from tomorrow.
