On Track Jack
I want to preface this by saying I didn’t get as much animation done as I’ve done in past weeks. I think that’s because of a few things… firstly, I was really booking it the past few weeks to get as much animation as done as possible for our last production update. Secondly, I felt like I got a bunch of other work shoved onto me. Not only did I have the responsibility to animate this week, but I also had to do scene assembly, and some extra rigging. I felt a little bit like Chris with his many duties this week, but I know he has much more to manage than me. 🙂 I did get a significant amount of animation done, however. Zack needed to focus more on our VFX, which have been a little bit lackluster. Because of that, I had to take over his 4 or 5 shots in the beginning of the film and had to animate them from scratch. They’re coming along, but I didn’t expect to have them dropped on my plate. Overall, an average work week. Not falling behind!

Positives:
Staying on track for deadlines.
Negatives:
Wish I could have gotten more animating done. Had to do extra shots.
